Rhinoplasty does not simply mean getting a smaller nose
Rhinoplasty does not only mean making it smaller but also means making the fleshy or bony nose fit the different parts of it and other parts of the face. Making a nose smaller is desirable as long as the nasal respiratory function is not compromised. Other complications of rhinoplasty include:
Decreased sense of smell
Bleeding
Perforation of the nasal septum
Small nostrils
Infection
Deep tissue damage
Skin numbness
Death from anesthesia
Increased mouth breathing
